Getting your player ready...

LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini is pleased with his team’s growing confidence and the solid performance of one player in particular.

I-back Quentin Castille nearly doubled his yards gained from the previous three games combined in Saturday’s game at Iowa State. Castille had 70 yards on 11 carries with a touchdown in the matchup with the Cyclones.

Pelini says the sophomore from LaPorte, Texas, is ready to be a factor for Nebraska (4-3, 1-2 Big 12.)

He was used throughout Nebraska’s offense Saturday and not just on short yard gains.

Nebraska practiced for 1 1/2 hours Monday inside Memorial Stadium.

The Huskers are preparing for Saturday’s home game against Baylor (3-4). Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m.
