WHEAT RIDGE, Colo.—Wheat Ridge police are investigating an auto-pedestrian collision that left one person dead.
Authorities say the driver of an SUV was northbound on Kipling Street about 6:45 a.m. Monday when the vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was in the road.
The pedestrian was taken to St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver, but later died.
The name of the pedestrian has not been released.
No further details were available.
