PUEBLO, Colo.—A 6-month-old girl is hospitalized with critical injuries and three other people have been hurt following a drive-by shooting in Pueblo.
The infant, a juvenile male, and an adult male and female were on the porch of an apartment building about 12:30 a.m. Thursday when someone in a vehicle fired a shotgun.
Police Sgt. Eric Bravo says the baby was hit in the back and head with more than a dozen bird pellets from the shotgun blast. She was flown to a Colorado Springs hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries.
Bravo says some 60 pellets struck the man, and the boy was hit with about 25. The woman sustained minor injuries to her calf and shin.
Their names and conditions haven’t been released.
No arrests have been made.
