An 18-year-old Broomfield High School student was charged with trying to intimidate another student who was a witness against him in a previous incident, police said.
Jayme Schmieding sent text messages to a number of classmates threatening the student, police said.
Broomfield police found Schmieding at a business about a mile from campus about 2:20 p.m. and arrested him.
