3OH!3’s upswing continues with the announcement this week of a pair of shows at the Ogden Theatre. Virtually no one was surprised when the Boulder-bred hip-hop duo sold out its Gothic Theatre shows last weekend, but the act’s snowballing popularity made another Colorado stint inevitable. Tickets for the Jan. 17 show are on sale. Tickets for the Jan. 16 show are sold out. ($16.75, Ticketmaster)
Umphrey’s McGee marks its return to Colorado with a trio of shows: The jam-prog act will play Fort Collins’ Aggie Theatre on Jan. 22, the Boulder Theater on Jan. 23 and the Fillmore Auditorium on Jan. 24. Tickets for all shows are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($25, or $55 for two-day pass to the Boulder Theater and the Fillmore; Ticketmaster)
Los Lonely Boys will headline KBCO 97.3 FM’s annual Holiday Concert at the Ogden Theatre on Nov. 24 with Hill Country Revue. One dollar of every ticket sold will be donated to Emergency Family Assistance Association. Conscious Alliance will also conduct a food drive on site. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($26-$30, Ticketmaster)
“Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour” is either the most brilliant extension of a wildly popular brand or the most thinly stretched one. Either way, it’s sliding into the Broomfield Event Center Dec. 5-7. Tickets for the musical-on-ice show are on sale Sunday. ($15-$75, Ticketmaster)
Gabriel Iglesias’ “fluffy” frame brings the eye-scraping patterns on his massive Hawaiian shirts into painful relief — which works all the better for the Mexican-American comedian since his aim is to skewer himself as much as others. Tickets for his Feb. 14 set at the Paramount Theatre are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($34, )
Susan Tedeschi will also stop by the Paramount Theatre, this time on Feb. 25 for a show with James Hunter. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($29.50-$47.50)
Josh Turner’s deep, choir-trained voice lends itself shockingly well to traditional country music — a short leap from the gospel world, really. His burgeoning pop-country career also reinforces the bond between the two genres. Tickets for his Jan. 28 concert at the Ogden Theatre are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($27.25-$30, Ticketmaster)
“Ska Is Dead,” proclaims the tour of the same name, which (of course) features longtime ska acts Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mustard Plug, Toasters, Suburban Legends and Deals Gone Bad. Tickets for the Jan. 25 show at the Gothic Theatre are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($15, Ticketmaster)
Turbo Crunk’s name pretty much sums up its music, but if for some reason you’re still wondering what the Montreal supergroup sounds like, check them out Jan. 17 at the Gothic Theatre. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($20, Ticketmaster)
Q-Tip and The Cool Kids will not, unfortunately, be delivering the righteous hip-hop at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom tonight. Refunds are available at the point of purchase. (cervantesmasterpiece.com)
