Shares of Ameristar Casinos rose Wednesday after voters in Colorado and other states approved changes in gambling laws that may benefit casino owners.
A measure to increase bet limits and allow casinos to be open 24 hours and offer more games passed in Tuesday’s election.
Ameristar climbed 35 cents, or 4 percent, to $9.22 in Nasdaq Stock Market composite trading.
