Trudy Randell pleaded guilty Thursday in Denver District Court to helping steal about $10 million from the Colorado Department of Revenue.

Randell, 37, is one of three people accused in the alleged scheme, including her husband, Hysear Randell, who has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to stand trial in January.

Michelle Cawthra, a former employee at the Department of Revenue, also pleaded guilty and will be sentenced in February.

As part of her plea deal, Tracy Randell will serve probation and a suspended sentence, as well as pay $1 million in restitution, according to the Denver district attorney’s office.
