Regular readers of this blog may be most familiar with as the papa of musicians Rufus Wainwright and Martha Wainwright, or the guy that contributed the ramshackle, melancholy slice of folk melody known as “The Swimming Song” (and “Lullaby”) to “The Squid and the Whale” soundtrack.
