DENVER—Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter is leading a trade mission to Japan and China this week, saying the state must be aggressive now more than ever in times of worldwide economic crisis.
The governor said Monday he will be accompanied by 40 leaders in business, economic development and research fields to encourage new business and investment.
Ritter says the state must look for opportunities where they can be nurtured.
The delegation leaves Saturday and will visit Tokyo, Yamagata, Beijing and Shanghai.
