DENVER—The latest winter storm brought up to 10 inches of snow to parts of the mountains and eastern Colorado.

On the Eastern Plains, the National Weather Service says 8 inches fell in Yuma and 10 inches in Alvin. Both are in Yuma County.

In the mountains, Silverton reported 10 inches and Gothic, near Crested Butte, saw 6 inches. Copper Mountain got 4 inches from the storm.

There’s a chance of some snow falling each day in the mountains through Friday. Strong winds are also in the forecast for Wednesday night into Thursday in the Front Range mountains and foothills. The weather service says winds of between 20 and 40 mph, with gusts of up to 80 mph, are possible.
