DENVER—A 40-year-old man has been arrested on allegations that he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old Evans girl at a Weld County motel.
Alfredo Adino-Ramos is being held on suspicion of kidnapping and assault.
Weld County sheriff’s deputies and Evans police found the girl at the Red Coach Inn on Tuesday night. She had been missing since Friday, when she started text-messaging her mother.
Police say they believe the girl was enticed to get into a car in Greeley on Friday or Saturday.
Investigators traced her to the motel and began knocking on doors. As they neared the room she was in, three men who were holding the girl opened a sliding glass door to the rear of the room and pushed her out.
Adino-Ramos was arrested; the two other men were not.
