STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Janne Korpi of Finland won a Big Air snowboarding World Cup event on Saturday to move into third place in the overall standings.
Chris Sorman of Sweden finished second at Olympic Stadium and Seppe Smits of Belgium was third.
After two events, Peetu Piiroinen of Finlands leads the overall standings with 1,450 points. Stefan Gimpl of Austria is second with 1,300 and Korpi has 1,036 points.
Piiroinen finished fifth and Gimpl fourth.
The snowboarders competed on man-made snow under lights at the world’s oldest Olympic venue still in use.
