The New York Stock Exchange will celebrate the Birds of Prey International Ski Federation World Cup with a live, remote bell-ringing to open the exchange’s trading day Dec. 5 at Beaver Creek Resort.
Chief executives of NYSE-listed companies from Colorado will participate in the event, including Rob Katz of Vail Resorts, Frederick Barrett of Bill Barrett Corp., Steve Ells of Chipotle Mexican Grill, H. Craig Clark of Forest Oil, Jerre Stead of IHS, Robert Jornayvaz III of Intrepid Potash, Peter Swinburn of Molson Coors, Richard O’Brien of Newmont Mining, Ed Mueller of Qwest, Thomas Toomey of UDR, and James Volker of Whiting Petroleum.
The ski-racing event is Dec. 4-7 at Beaver Creek.
