VAIL, Colo.—A 58-year-old Kentucky man is dead after he collapsed on a Greyhound bus as it was leaving Vail.
Police say the bus was departing from the Vail Transportation Center at about 2:15 p.m. Friday when a passenger noticed that the Bellevue, Ky., man was having trouble breathing.
The victim collapsed, and another passenger began CPR.
Eagle County Health Services paramedics and Vail Fire and Emergency Services responded.
Vail Police Sgt. Bill Clausen says the paramedics tried to revive the Kentucky man but were unsuccessful.
Clausen says the Eagle County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s name after his relatives are notified.
