INFLATED HOME PRICES

LINCOLN—The state has filed a lawsuit accusing a homebuilder, mortgage broker and two appraisers of inflating home prices to fraudulently obtain mortgages for home buyers. The civil lawsuit filed this week by the Nebraska attorney general’s office and the state Department of Banking names Aspen Builders Inc., Lincoln Mortgage Inc. and two appraisers.
