SULAIMANIYAH, Iraq — A Kurdish rebel group on Sunday declared a nine-day holiday cease-fire in its fight against Turkey, a spokesman said. The unilateral cease-fire will begin today as the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha gets underway, said Ahmed Deniz, a spokesman for the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, which has bases in northern Iraq.
