A Colorado chain of auto dealerships is abandoning plans to build three new facilities in Glenwood Springs because of the poor economy.
Vista Auto Group had planned to build Nissan, Honda and Subaru dealerships on a property that formerly held motels.
The company bought the property this year for more than $5 million. The auto group has now put the land up for sale.
