DENVER—Authorities are looking for the driver of a car that struck a 13-year-old Littleton girl while she was walking to a bus stop.
The Colorado State Patrol says Taylor Hunt was crossing a frontage road to get to a bus stop when she was struck from behind by a small passenger vehicle at about 6:40 a.m. Friday. The driver then left the scene.
Hunt was on her way to Ken Caryl Middle School.
The patrol says the girl was taken to Littleton Hospital. She was reportedly treated for a broken leg and minor head injuries, and released.
Patrol officers say the vehicle likely sustained front-end damage.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Colorado State Patrol at 303-239-4583.
