MANKATO, Minn. — Matt Glasser entered Saturday night’s game with one goal on the season. But Denver’s fourth-line winger found the scoring touch, netting his first career hat trick in a victory over Minnesota State.

Glasser scored in every period, including a goal with 55 seconds remaining in the second period that broke a 2-2 tie and another just 72 seconds into the third.

The win was the sixth in a row for the sixth-ranked Pioneers (13-5-1, 9-4-1 in WCHA). It was also Denver’s first series sweep in Mankato since 2001.
