LONGMONT, Colo.—Authorities have ruled out foul play in the death of a man found inside an abandoned Longmont house.

An autopsy was performed Saturday on 28-year-old Michael Borchert of Longmont but an exact cause of death has not been determined.

Two men found Borchert’s body at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday inside a home police say is often used by homeless people. Police were working with homeless outreach advocates as part of their investigation.

Cmdr. Tim Lewis says the only sign of trauma on Borchert was a small cut on his face, believed to be from a fight days earlier.
