Eddie Gill hit a buzzer-beating shot in a second consecutive game to help give Colorado a victory, this time after his regulation jumper forced overtime, in which the 14ers went on to defeat the host Tulsa 66ers 128-125 in a NBA D-League game Sunday.

With two seconds left in regulation, Josh Davis scored on a layup to bring the 14ers within two points. Then after Dominique Coleman stole the inbounds pass, he fed Gill for the tying shot. Coleman’s 26 points led the 14ers (7-3).

On Friday, Gill, a former star at Aurora’s Overland High School, scored on a 10-foot jumper with 0.2 seconds remaining to beat the Utah Flash.

Morelli leads Rage again.

David Morelli’s goal 1:40 into overtime lifted the Rocky Mountain Rage to a 3-2 victory over the Laredo Bucks in a Central Hockey League game at the Broomfield Event Center. It was the second time in two days that Morelli led the Rage over the Bucks. His goal in regulation and one in a shootout were also the difference Saturday.

The Rage (13-13-2) has won its past four home games in overtime or a shootout.
