STORRS, Conn. — Jacques Lamoureux scored with 3:03 remaining Saturday to lift Air Force to a 4-3 victory over Connecticut in an Atlantic Hockey Association game at the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum.

UConn scored two power-play goals early in the first period and built a 2-0 lead, but the Falcons (15-3-1, 12-1-1) answered with a power-play goal of their own. Josh Frider fed Michael Mayra at the center point, and the senior blasted his second of the season.

The Huskies (4-13-1, 3-6-1) took a 3-1 lead on Justin Hernandez’s second goal of the game just 90 seconds into the second period.

The Falcons tied the game late in the second period on power-play goals by Frider and Brent Olson.

Lamoureux’s game-winner was set up by the passing of Olson and Frider.
