Police have recovered more items stolen in a string of Loveland church burglaries that happened in the weeks before Christmas.
On Tuesday, Greeley, Loveland and Fort Collins police searched a Greeley home and found items that had been taken from Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Loveland.
Police have arrested Timothy J. Mattox, 33, who is being held in the Larimer County Jail on several theft related charges.
A warrent has been issued for the arrest of his alleged accomplice, Ryan Lee Robert Davis, 32, the release says. Davis was wearing a baseball hat and a black coat with white stripes in surveillance pictures released by police.
Police have also linked the suspects to other church burglaries and a string of 17 other burglaries in Northern Colorado.
Suspects broke into the churches between Dec. 12 and Dec. 22, and stole gift cards, cash and checks. They then were captured on surveilance cameras at several King Soopers stores, using some of the stolen gift cards.
