ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo.—A 55-year-old Lakewood man who died while snowshoeing with his family in Rocky Mountain National Park had heart disease.

Albert Langemann died Saturday afternoon while on Longs Peak trail, about 2.5 miles up the trail at an elevation of 10,000.

Larimer County Deputy Coroner Greg Fairman said Sunday an autopsy discovered Langemann had a nearly fully blocked artery in his heart.

Rangers pronounced Langemann dead about two hours after receiving a call about a man receiving CPR on the trail.
