Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper declared Tuesday “Dress Western Day” in honor of the National Western Stock Show’s annual parade through downtown Denver.
The parade begins at Denver’s Union Station at noon and moves up 17th Street.
There will be an 11:30 a.m. barbecue in the atrium of the Wells Fargo Building in conjunction with the day’s activities. The barbecue is open to to the public, with the $9 price benefiting the 4-H International Youth group.
