The Denver District Attorney office has formally charged two men in connection with the Dec. 30 murder of Kenneth Espinoza, 25, and the wounding of Phillip Baca, 28 after an argument.
Quinn Guytan, 22, and Paul Meza, 30, were arrested in the case on Jan. 2. Guytan is suspected of homicide, and Meza is charged with being an accessory to a crime.
The shooting happened near the intersection of West Ninth Avenue and Kalamath Street, Denver police said.
Police said the shootings happened after an argument between two groups of people.
Quytan and Meza are scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Wednesday to be advised of the charges.
