ASPEN, Colo.—A Massachusetts skier has been ticketed for leaving the scene of a collision with another skier on Aspen Mountain.

Pitkin County deputies issued a summons to 61-year-old William Marsh.

Deputies say that after the collision on Saturday, Marshall exchanged information with the other skier but didn’t stay on the scene as required by the Colorado Skier Safety Act.

The other skier was treated at Aspen Valley Hospital for a shoulder injury. Sheriff’s Patrol Director Ann Stephenson says a nurse at the hospital reported the alleged violation to authorities.

Marsh had checked out of his lodgings Tuesday and his hometown wasn’t immediately available.
