PUEBLO —The coroner has identified a Pueblo County woman found dead in her home as 32-year-old Heather Zemlock.
Zemlock was found dead Tuesday in her home on the 1400 block of Sierra Street when her employer came to check on her after she failed to show up for work.
Authorities suspected Zemlock died of carbon monoxide poisoning when first responders on the scene experienced immediate headaches, and saw an old, electric heater in the bedroom with Zemlock’s body.
But sheriff’s officials say that after further investigation, workers did not detect any significant levels of carbon monoxide in the home.
There were no signs of physical trauma. Police say they don’t suspect foul play.
Officials say Zemlock moved to Pueblo from Wisconsin three months ago.
