COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency says shot putter Mitchell Pope has accepted a two-year suspension after testing positive for boldenone metabolite.

The 25-year-old Pope of Raleigh, N.C., tested positive for the anabolic agent Sept. 10 in out-of-competition testing. His two-year period of ineligibility began Jan. 15.

USADA also says a panel has determined cyclocross athlete Jonathan Page of Northfield, N.H., did not commit a doping violation.

The agency says in a release Friday that the three-member panel of the American Arbitration Association/North American Court of Arbitration for Sport found the 32-year-old Page had a “compelling justification” for not providing a urine sample Nov. 29 at the Koksijde, Belgium, World Cup.
