BOULDER, Colo.—Police in Boulder are investigating a fatal shooting.
Boulder County Coroner Thomas Faure says 47-year-old William Dwayne Andrews of Boulder was shot in the head and chest Friday night.
Longmont police Cmdr. Tim Lewis said Saturday that Boulder police were investigating whether the shooting was linked to a fight in Longmont, in which a man held a shotgun to a woman’s head at her motor home and fired a round into the air before leaving with another man.
Longmont police arrested 41-year-old Joseph Abeyta on Saturday in that case. He was being held on a $100,000 bond on suspicion of first-degree burglary and felony menacing.
