WICHITA — Police say two people were killed and seven injured in a shooting at a wake in southeast Wichita.

Deputy Police Chief Robert Lee told The Wichita Eagle and KAKE-TV that all the victims of Saturday night’s shooting were adults, but he did not know their ages or genders.

One victim was reported in critical condition, and four others were in serious condition.

Lee said the shooting occurred about 9:30 p.m. during a wake at a house. He could not say how many shooters were involved but said some of the shots came from outside the home. No arrests have been made.
