FORT COLLINS — Attorneys for a man who served 10 years in prison for murder before his conviction was overturned are seeking more time in his lawsuit against Fort Collins and Larimer County officials.
Timothy Masters’ attorneys said in a court filing last week that they’re working “diligently” on the suit but need more time because of other cases they’re handling — including lawsuits against the federal government by Guantanamo Bay detainees.
They want 30 more days to respond to requests to dismiss the case.
