A woman arrested in a hit-and-run accident last month near Denver International Airport that killed two women is back in jail after she was arrested for driving under a suspended license.

Sandra Lee Jacobson, 40, was arrested Saturday afternoon at her home in Centennial. She was taken to the Sullivan Center, where she was being held on a $50,000 bond.

At about 1:30 p.m., an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a neighbor’s report that Jacobson was seen driving, though her license had been suspended on Jan. 9.

Jacobson was arrested by Denver Police Jan. 28 after her pickup truck sideswiped a van on its way to DIA, killing two librarians from Connecticut, who had been in Denver for a conference.

She was charged with drunk driving, two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

Jacobson was then freed on a separate $50,000 bond.
