COLORADO SPRINGS — El Paso County deputies arrested a man in the shooting death of a woman whose body was discovered lying facedown in a ditch by a school-bus driver Monday.
Marc Sylvester, 37, was arrested in the investigation of first-degree murder in the death of Jennifer Warren, said Lt. Lari Sevene of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Sylvester, who also was charged with possession of a weapon by a previous offender, is being held in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on $500,000 bail. Sylvester was convicted of illegal drug possession and assault in separate cases in 2006, according to Colorado Bureau of Investigation records.
