Win an Arizona vacation.

The Arizona Office of Tourism wants Denver residents to “Do Tomorrow Different” by taking their photos “in Arizona.” Several cutout boards with Arizona scenes will be placed throughout the city, and residents are invited to take their photos with them. Residents can win a travel voucher to visit Arizona by sending a test to the number displayed on the boards. The boards will be up for six weeks at various locations. Photograph a narrow gauge.

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is offering it fifth annual Winter Photographer’s Special on Feb. 22. Rail fans and photographers will have the opportunity to capture photographs and footage of the train in its winter setting. On the way to Cascade Canyon, the train will stop for passengers to step off at numerous remote location and photograph the train as it backs up and steams by. The train is limited to 100 passengers and departs Durango at 8 a.m. The train returns at dusk. Mardi Gras in Snowmass.

Snowmass Village invites the Knights of the Round Table to town as the theme for its 27th annual Mardi Gras festival. The Feb. 24 event includes free traditional Mardi Gras elements such as crawdad boils, Hurricane drink specials and celebrations late into the night.
