DENVER—Interior Secretary Ken Salazar plans to visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park to tout improvements there that could be funded by the federal stimulus package.
The former Colorado senator visits the park on Sunday. He made a similar trip last month to the Denver-area Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge to say it also could benefit from the package. Salazar said the federal legislation could help fund a visitor center and create jobs there.
