ALBUQUERQUE — New Mexico police say they have uncovered the bones of six bodies in the desert west of Albuquerque during the past two weeks. The remains were discovered at an under-construction housing development.

One set of bones has been identified as belonging to Victoria Chavez, a known prostitute and drug user. Chavez was last seen in 2003 and was reported missing in 2004.
