GREELEY, Colo.—A second suspect has been arrested in the death of a Greeley man who was shot as he was getting into his pickup to go to work early one morning last week.
Greeley police say 27-year-old Justin Brunner was arrested Saturday on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. He’s being held in the Weld County jail.
Forty-four-year-old Jeffrey Watson Sr. was shot Thursday. Police say Brunner wasn’t present but they believe he helped plan the attack.
Police in Dubuque, Iowa, arrested 27-year-old Cecil J. Erb on Friday on suspicion of first-degree murder. He was arrested on a warrant issued in Greeley.
Police from Greeley expect to interview Erb in Dubuque.
