GALVESTON, Texas — An oil tanker grounded in the Gulf of Mexico off Galveston, Texas, has been refloated, and divers will inspect the hull.
The Coast Guard said the 800-foot Yasa Golden Dardanelles was refloated Tuesday. The tanker was lightened after more than 80,000 barrels of oil were transferred to another vessel.
The Coast Guard said no cargo leaked.
