LINCOLN, Neb.—Adam Bailey homered, doubled twice and drove in six runs to help Nebraska came from behind to defeat Division I baseball newcomer North Dakota 10-6 on Wednesday.

Bailey and Khiry Cooper both hit two-run doubles in the eighth inning as Nebraska turned a 6-5 deficit into a 10-6 lead. The Cornhuskers (3-1-1) won their home opener for the 31st straight year.

Bailey’s six RBIs were the most in a game for Nebraska since Ryan Wehrle drove in six against Texas Tech in April 2006.

Casey Hauptman (1-0) pitched the last 3 1-3 innings for the win, allowing one run on five hits.

Derek Biermaier (0-2) gave up five runs on one hit and four walks in two innings of relief for North Dakota (0-4), which is opening with 36 straight road games.
