COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Firefighters battling a stubborn 6,328-acre wildfire at Fort Carson have it 90 percent contained.
Fort Carson spokeswoman Karen Connelly says about 46 firefighters are keeping a perimeter around most of the blaze and are mopping up hot spots.
Authorities believe the detonation of the military explosive C-4 in training may have sparked the fire Tuesday.
A full investigation will begin once the blaze is extinguished.
