
Def Leppard is breaking out all the hits, including the rad/hilarious/ awful “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” for its big summer outing, which will stop at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village on Aug. 24. The band is bringing friends Poison and Cheap Trick, making the concert a must-see for hair metal fans and ’80s rock worshipers. The top-tier tickets are a bit pricey at $125, but when it comes to washed-up rock bands, fans are willing to ignore the struggling economy when buying concert tickets, right? . . . Right? Christopher Guest has a familiar face. You recognize him from those silly movies — “This is Spinal Tap,” “The Princess Bride,” “Waiting for Guffman” and “A Mighty Wind.” And now Guest and his buddies — fellow actor-musicians Michael McKean and Harry Shearer — are touring the country, playing some of their famous songs. “Spinal Tap” hits will be played unplugged, and “A Mighty Wind” tunes will be played in their original, acoustic arrangements at the group’s stop at Denver’s Paramount Theatre on April 29.
