BOULDER, Colo.—Senior guard Shalee Lehning recorded her first triple-double in Big 12 play in leading Kansas State past Colorado 71-61 Saturday.
Lehning had 16 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists as Kansas State (23-6, 10-6) snapped a four-game road losing streak.
Marlies Gipson led the Wildcats with 21 points.
Kara Richards scored 19 points for the Buffaloes (11-17, 3-13), and Brittany Spears added 18.
The game was tied at 37 at halftime after Colorado’s Bianca Smith sank three free throws.
