HOT SPRINGS, ARK. — The University of Denver Pioneers lost a heartbreaker, 70-60 in double-overtime, to Arkansas-Little Rock in the semifinals of the Sun Belt Conference women’s basketball tournament.
The Pioneers had their chances, having the lead late in the game and having the ball for the last minute of the first overtime.
But they couldn’t convert those opportunities, and they were held scoreless in the second overtime.
