Fans of ski racing and other Olympic sports have been able to watch events online through Universal Sports (www.universalsports.com) for some time now, but the website recently expanded its reach by launching a television channel in the Denver area.
Available on Comcast Channel 250 and over the air on Channel 9.3, Universal Sports will televise this week’s alpine World Cup Finals and replays of the recent nordic and alpine world championships, in which Lindsey Vonn, Ted Ligety, Todd Lodwick and Billy Demong won medals.
Universal also televises speedskating, bobsled, snowboarding and freestyle skiing.
