The featured speaker at Wednesday’s National Federation of Independent Business luncheon: Cinderella herself.
Rep. Laura Bradford was billed in an NFIB news release as a Cinderella candidate who “ignored the advice of almost everyone who told her she was foolish to take on an incumbent slated to be the next speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives.”
Bradford, R-Collbran, last November upset Rep. Bernie Buescher, D-Grand Junction.
There’s one problem with the NFIB announcement, which was part of Small Business Day at the Capitol.
“I forgot to bring my pumpkin,” Bradford deadpanned.
