BRENTWOOD, N.H. — A man who as a teenager helped in the notorious murder of a school aide’s husband will become eligible for parole three years ahead of schedule.
Patrick Randall, 35, was convicted of second-degree murder for holding down Gregory Smart while his friend shot Smart in the head 19 years ago. This week, a judge cut his minimum sentence by three years, making him eligible for release in 2015.
