CHICAGO — A suburban Chicago man is accused of impersonating a police officer and extorting money from a victim for a year, authorities said Saturday.

Raul Eiseman, 44, of Des Plaines was charged Thursday with impersonating an officer, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated assault. Police said he tricked a 43-year-old man into making weekly payments by saying he was a Chicago police officer.
