A 38-year-old woman was injured Sunday night when she bolted across a street and was hit by a car, police said.
The woman, who was not identified, was injured around 8:45 p.m. near East Boulder Street and Bonfoy Avenue, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.
The woman, whom police described as “intoxicated,” ran across East Boulder Street between the crosswalks, police said.
She was taken to Memorial Hospital Central where she is being treated for “leg and arm fractures and a brain bleed.”
Further details on her condition were not available.
The 19-year-old driver of the Subaru Outback who hit the woman was not cited for any violations, police said.
