A 25-year-old man accused of kidnapping and sexual assault was found dead Thursday in the Garfield County Detention Facility, an apparent suicide, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
The inmate was identified as Antonio Delgadillo, who was accused of kidnapping a minor and then forcibly fondling the child.
Tanny McGinnis, spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office, said Delgadillo killed himself by hanging.
